“I’m interested in the meeting points of natural materials, time and form. The resulting works contain a vibrancy of surface created by the hours, hands and eyes that nourished them.” Alexander Lamont

In 2015, Micheal Silacci and his staff wanted to cultivate an Opus One beehive to increase pollinator presence and add biodiversity to the Opus One property, a lovely byproduct is the production of Opus One honey. Michael consulted with our then Executive Chef, Sarah Scott to plant seasonal vegetables that our kitchen would use and that would attract and support a bee population.
In December 2024, we harvested our first honey and continue to harvest vegetables for our kitchen.
Our executive chef, Sean Koenig is replanting the garden to reflect our kitchen needs in a 4 season a year program.
